Physical therapy released you. Imaging looks clean. But the muscle still won’t fully let go — a tightness that stretching can’t touch, a guarded movement pattern your body won’t unlearn, or pain that shows up with no clear tissue explanation left.
What’s actually happening
When an injury happens, the nervous system doesn’t just register tissue damage — it registers threat, and it builds a structural bracing pattern to protect the area. Ideally, that pattern releases once the danger has passed. Often it doesn’t. The bracing becomes chronic, showing up as tightness, guarding, restricted range of motion, or phantom pain patterns that persist well after the original injury has healed.
How we work with it
We use NET and muscle-testing biofeedback to locate exactly where that bracing pattern is still active and help your nervous system discharge the stress loop underneath it — rather than continuing to manage the tightness at the tissue level alone. This is often the missing piece for athletes who’ve done everything “right” in rehab and still don’t feel fully released.
Where clients typically start
A single Neuro-Somatic Reset session is a common starting point for isolated bracing patterns. For chronic tightness or phantom pain that’s persisted across a longer stretch, The 6-Week Autonomic Protocol is built specifically for this.
