The scan clears. The return-to-play protocol is signed off. And you still don’t feel like yourself — foggy, off-balance, quick to overload, quicker to crash. That gap between “medically cleared” and “actually okay” is one of the most common reasons athletes find their way to us.
What’s actually happening
A concussion is a significant event for the autonomic nervous system, not just the brain. Alongside the physical impact, the nervous system often locks into a protective bracing pattern — staying on high alert long after the tissue itself has recovered. That’s frequently what’s underneath lingering fog, sensory sensitivity, fatigue, or a short fuse that doesn’t match who you were before the injury.
How we work with it
Using Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) and muscle-testing biofeedback, we help isolate where that hidden stress loop is still active and support the nervous system in discharging it — shifting you out of a chronic bracing state and back toward a regulated baseline. This is autonomic regulation work, not talk therapy, and it’s not a substitute for the medical management of your concussion.
Where clients typically start
Many clients begin with a single Neuro-Somatic Reset session to see how their nervous system responds, or move into The Elite Integration Protocol for more complex, extended post-concussion patterns using the full 15-60-15 Crossover Method.
